Ralph H. Lipford, Jr., age 64, of Wilmington, DE passed away on June 28, 2024.

Born in Wilmington, he was the son of E. Virginia (Schutterlee) and the late Ralph Lipford, Sr. He graduated from Howard High School of Technology and worked as a mechanic with New Castle County. Ralph loved fishing and boating. He enjoyed spending time by the water and taking his boat out on the local Delaware bay and ponds. He adored his golden retrievers, having many close companions over the years. Ralph was also an avid fan of Nascar, but most of all, enjoyed the company of his close friends and family.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Faith Caroline Lipford; his mother, E. Virginia Lipford; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Mark Plummer and Sheila and Steve Wurst; and his nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation gathering will be held on Friday July 12th from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.
