Age 69, of Wilmington, DE passed away tragically on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.Born in Alexandria, VA, Ralph was the son of the late Clifford and Mary Elizabeth (Bump) Fausnaugh. He graduated from Brown Vocational High School. For 20 years, he worked as a manager for Delaware Car Company, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Delaware Army National Guard. Ralph was devoted to helping his family, friends and community, serving as a Cub Scout Pack Leader at St. John the Beloved, volunteering at Oakwood Valley Swim Club and eagerly helping anyone with their cars and household projects. He was his grandchildrens' biggest fan at sporting events and special occasions.Ralph will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Diana (Mandarino) Fausnaugh; his daughter, Laura Novobilsky of Baltimore, MD, his daughter, Natalie and husband, Charlie Tucci of Wilmington, DE; his son, Craig and wife, Julie of Newark, DE and son, Scott of Wilmington, DE; and his beloved grandchildren, Kara, Kevin, and Audrey Novobilsky, Amanda and Bryce Tucci, Katie, Emma and Maddy Fausnaugh. Also surviving are his brother, Merle and wife Carolyn Fausnaugh of Middletown, DE; his mother-in-law, Mary Mandarino of Monessen, PA; four brothers-in-law, Richard, Frank and wife, Bette, Larry and wife, Janet, and Ron; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, George and father-in-law, Richard Mandarino. Friends and family may call on Sunday, October 5th between 2 and 4 PM at Mealey Funeral Home on Limestone at Milltown Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
