Pierce Worrall Johnston, Jr., age 81 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at Cadia Pike Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, October 14, 2016.Born in Wilmington to the late Florence Jean (Griffith) and Pierce Worrall Johnston, Sr. Pierce worked as a laboratory technician and retired from DuPont several years ago. An Avid boater, he was very active in the Wilmington Power Squadron.Pierce was predeceased by his loving wife S. Jane (Lenoir) Johnston. He is survived by his sister Eva Lou Rhoads of Englewood, FL Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cadia Pike Creek nursing staff.Services and interment will be private.
