Age 92, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.Born in Wilmington, Pauline was the daughter of the late Tomasso and Lucia (Cataldi) Albertini. She worked at the Dress Barn for 20 years, retiring in 2009. Previously, she worked at Leroy's for 7 years, and in her youth, Dravo Shipyard and Greenhill Dairy. She was a member of St. Matthew's Church and the BVM Sodality. She enjoyed spending time at Claymore Senior Center where she played bocce ball. She loved baking cookies, especially biscotti, and loved even more to give them to friends and family. Her husband of 61 years, Paul J. DiNetta, predeceased her in 2010.She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Paula A., with whom she lived; her sons and daughters-in-law, Louis C. and Vicky of Middletown and Thomas P. and Cindy of Bear; her beloved grandchildren, Allegra, Adam and Allyssa; and many nieces, nephews and friends.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Heldt and Dr. Gaetano Pastore and staffs for all their kindness, care and support throughout the years; and to her two best friends Rosemarie Onley and Fran Blackson for their loving devotion.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 29th at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington DE 19804. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Sunday evening between 5 and 7 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington.
