Paul S. Blome, 63 passed away peacefully at Regency Healthcare on his birthday Sunday, October 3, 2021. Paul was born in Wilmington , the son of the late Grace (Poppiti) Blome and Curtis Blome. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1976 as a distinct athlete for participating as the quarterback with outstanding reviews by the local News Journal paper. As a sports enthusiast he also triumphed in baseball and basketball. His love of sports continued as he followed the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. Paul attended the University of Delaware and worked at Wilmington Country Club. He was a former member of Corpus Christi Church . In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Frederick Blome and his sister, Sharon Blome. Friends are invited to the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road , Wilmington on Friday morning for visitation from 10 to 11 AM. A service will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, Middletown .
