It is with great sadness that the family of Patsy Boyd Von Stetten, age 71, of Wilmington share that she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

Patsy was born in Terre Haute, IN, daughter of the late Patsy (Loyd) and Kendrick Blodgett. The family moved to Montague Michigan for some time and eventually settled in Wilmington, DE. Patsy graduated from Brandywine High School. She went on to work in different fields including with New Castle County, Governor Mike Castle's office, and then in the legal community until her retirement. In her free time, Patsy enjoyed cooking (and making sure no one ever left hungry), picking crabs, gardening, listening to live music, playing fantasy football and PlayStation, working on the pool, taking trips to Ocean City, MD, and being on a boat whenever she had the chance. Patsy was always happiest spending time with her friends and family, and loved spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter. Patsy was known for having a big heart, positive attitude, and a timely sense of humor mixed in with the right amount of sarcasm.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Kendre Von Stetten; son, Kurt Von Stetten, and his wife Veroniqua; granddaughter, Olivia Von Stetten, with another granddaughter on the way; sibilings, Kaye Weaver, Cindy Blodgett (Abby), Gini Gladstone, Betsy LeRoy (Ben), and Rick Blodgett (Mary); and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she loved immensely.

Funeral services for Patsy will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Patsy's name to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and the Delaware ASPCA
