Patrica A. Yoncoskie, age 87, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025. She was dearly loved by all her family and friends. Her grandchildren will forever miss their beloved Nana.

Patricia was born in Sunbury, PA, daughter of the late Dorothy (Schuler) and Fred Wallish. Patricia grew up in Shamokin, PA before moving to the area in 1960. Patricia went on to become a Kindergarten and Preschool Teacher at Zion Lutheran Church and then worked as a personal assistant to the McDonald family until her retirement. In retirement, Patricia enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard including multiple trips to Ireland, and reading. Patricia's family meant the world to her, and she cherished every family gathering, party, and moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her sisters, Loraine Dougherty and Anna Bradley.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Richard E. Yoncoskie; daughters and their husbands, Clare (Paul) Chesnik and Maribeth (Bill) Boyle; son and his wife, Richard S. (Maureen) Yoncoskie; grandchildren, Sarah, Sean, Elizabeth, Justin, Michael, Katie, Hailey, Josh, and Patrick; great grandchildren, Austin, Kale, Riley, Carter, and Eleanor; sister, Josephine Maccarri; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she all loved.

A visitation for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 901 E. Newport Pk, Wilmington, DE 19804, where friends and family may call from 10:30am to 11:30am, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30am. Burial will be held privately.
