Patricia R. (McLaughlin) Schneese, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willard S. Schneese, Jr., her brothers, John E. and Roger M. McLaughlin, and her sister, Barbara A. DeMoss. Patricia is survived by her son, Richard F. and Tracey M., with whom she resided with in Townsend, DE, W. Patrick and Susan L., Catherine A. (Dominick), Matthew J. and Kimberly D., and Ann M. and John A. Guizzetti, all of Wilmington, DE; her sister, Mary Brannock; sister-in-law, Laura McLaughlin; and brother, Michael McLaughlin. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Jessica and Robert Tymitz, Miles, Jocelynn, Heather, Richard Jr., John, Olivia, Luke, Justin (Hannah), Britney, David (and his fiance, Meghan) and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, LJ, Juleea, Cameron, and Alex. Patricia enjoyed playing bingo and rummy. She was devoted to all of those in her life. She was loved and cherished and will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Seasons Hospice for all the caring and support through this most difficult time. A visitation will be held at Mealey Funeral Homes, 2509 Limestone Rd Wilmington, DE 19808, on Monday, December 3, 2018 between 10 AM and 12 Noon. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
