On June 23, 2025, Patricia "Pat" Hayes passed into the presence of her Lord Jesus.  Born in Upland, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Russell and Marie FitzSimons.  She was also preceded by her husband of 50 years, Thomas "Tom" J Hayes, Jr.  We will miss her dearly!  She is survived by her four kids, Kathy (Suiters), TJ, Andy, and Karen (Thompson), and 13 grandchildren.  She raised her kids with calm and kindness, even through some very stressful and tumultuous times.

Pat was well-known as a friendly neighbor and was quick to offer encouragement and help to others.  At church, she was a long-time choir member, went on mission trips and taught Bible studies.  Always a dog lover, the house was never more than a few days without one!  She also had a love of nature that she instilled in her children.  Once she got settled into her life in assisted living, she started a recycling program and began making lots of friends among staff and residents.

Most of all, Pat loved Jesus and knew that He loved her.  She was a wonderful example to others for her faith, kindness and generosity.  Mom, we will miss you down here, but we will see you again in heaven!
