Patricia M. Davis, (McDonnell), age 89, of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 30, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital following a short illness.

Patricia was born on August 28, 1932 to Bernard and Katherine McDonnell and lived in Wilmington her entire life. She was a graduate of St. Paul's Catholic School and St. Elizabeth High School. Pat worked for the Dupont Company until her retirement. She was a member of St. Ann Church, an avid bowler and enjoyed using her incredible memory to master difficult crossword puzzles. Blair Davis, who she was married to for 29 years was the love of her life. Pat and Blair spent many wonderful years together, bowling, traveling and enjoying each other's company.

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her loving husband, Blair Davis; her brother, Bernard J. McDonnell; her sisters, Catherine McDonnell, and Eileen Reece and her husband, Willard; her sisters-in-law, Joan Antonacci and Jane McDonnell; and her brother-in-law, Thomas Antonacci.

She is survived by her nieces, Catherine McDonnell Anderson (Cumming, GA), and Patricia Stanley (Longs, SC); nephews, Blair Antonucci (Lynden, WA), Michael McDonnell (Anchorage, AK), Thomas McDonnell (Port Aransas, TX), Kevin McDonnell (Kennebunkport, ME), James McDonnell (Jupiter, FL), Christopher Reece (Gilbert, AZ), and Daniel Reese (Brambleton, VA).

Pat was blessed with Wilmington friends who were like family, Sean, Julie, Evelyn and Meredith Goodrick; Mary Ann Wozniak; and Cindy Gephardt.

The family greatly appreciates her caregiver, Connie McGill, whose dedicated support allowed Pat to achieve her wish of not having to leave her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 14th at St. Ann Church, Gilpin Avenue and N. Union Street at 10 A.M. Masks are required in the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pat's name to St. Ann Church, 2013 Gilpin Ave, Wilmington DE 19806.
