Patricia L. Connolly, age 70, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born in Troy, NY, daughter of the late Elvera (Longo) and Morgan Allen. She received her bachelor's degree from Trenton State College and worked in Medical Records at Gilpin Hall in Wilmington, DE for 20 years. She was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish where she served as treasurer of the St. Vincent dePaul Society. Pat thoroughly enjoyed shopping, particularly at her favorite stores such as Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Talbot's. She took great joy in decorating her home especially for the holidays, hosting parties with family and friends, cooking and vacationing with family in Cape May. Pat loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed by those closest to her.

Pat is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dennis J. Connolly; daughters, Erin Galbraith (Brian) and Kristin Connolly; grandchildren, Natalie and Cooper Galbraith; sister-in-law, Maureen Andres (David); nephews Brad (Lucy) and Connor Andres.

The family would like to thank her care team at University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Elman and Mary Kelley, NP along with her devoted caregivers Angie, Kristina and Missy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 5:30PM to 7:30PM, and again on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's name to St. John the Beloved St. Vincent de Paul Society, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, or the ALS United Mid-Atlantic, Attention Evelyn Thoman 321 Norristown Road; Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
