Patricia Schofield Bennett, age 94, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022.

Patricia was born in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late Sabina (Clarke) and Edward Schofield. She attended P.S. DuPont High School. She married Leslie Frank Bennett, Jr., and together they had four children. Patricia was a homemaker for her children and enjoyed being with her family, marching in the Wilmington Irish parade and having fun with her friends, the Haggie Baggies.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Leslie Frank Bennett, Jr.; brothers, Edward Schofield, Joseph Schofield, and Francis 'Zeke" Schofield; and sisters, Helen Bogart and Alice Monagle.

Patricia is survived by her son, James (Evelyn) Bennett; and daughters, Dr. Karen Bennett, Pamela (Keith) Vandegrift and Jane (Charles) Hoopes; brothers, James Schofield and Paul Schofield; and sister, Mary Davis.  Ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren kept her picture shelf full and provided smiles aplenty.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday September 9, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. with burial to follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
