Pablo
Limon-Paredes
January 15, 2002 – March 18, 2025
Pablo Limon-Paredes, age 23, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
He graduated from Glasgow High School and joined the US Army in 2020. He specialized in carpentry and masonry and deployed to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia while enlisted. He earned several medals, including an Army Commendation medal, Army Achievement medal, National Defense Service medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Pablo recently took classes on software development and was hoping to pursue a degree in computer science from Wilmington University.
Pablo had a deep love for learning- he was open-minded, curious, and always eager to try something new. A true Boy of Wonder, he carried a kindness that never faded and a heart that never stopped giving. Even as a child, he found joy in the woods, his sense of wonder leading the way. He had a passion for anime, video games, and horror and action movies. His humor was unforgettable, the kind that made ordinary moments brighter. And his smile-it was beautiful, warm, and full of life, a reflection of the love and kindness he carried within him.
But more than anything, he was selfless. Pablo put others before himself without a second thought, always showing up, always giving, always loving. His warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He found happiness in the simple things-working on his car, changing his own oil and brakes, spending time at church, being with friends. He was the one we turned to when we needed to talk, the one who never hesitated to help, the one who made life better just by being in it.
Pablo was the best of us. The greatest person we have ever known. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his love, his laughter, and his beautiful smile will live on in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Pablo is survived by his mother Maria Paredes; his father, Martin Limon; his siblings, Miguel, Irene, Marta, Francisco, Esmeralda, Raquel, Maria Elena, Ricardo, Rebeca, Luis Miguel, Martin, Fernando, Gorge, and Ana Maria; his paternal grandfather, Luis Limon; and his maternal grandparents, Anastacio Paredes and Maria Gomez.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00AM to 12:00 P.M. at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. A funeral ceremony will begin at 12:00PM. Burial will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
