Ora W. Vickery, Jr. "Vic", 79 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on September 7, 2016 at Seasons Hospice.Vic was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Pauline Ann (Connell) and Ora W. Vickery, Sr. He attended St. Elizabeth and Wilmington High Schools and was a member of St. Elizabeth Church. Vic served his country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, John and Dennis.Vic is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dianne J. (Kriebel) Vickery and many nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at St. Elizabeth Church, Clayton and Cedar Streets at 11 AM. Friends may call at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
