Nancy Ann Symonds, age 89, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Nancy was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Catherine (Ferris) and Albert Sidwell. Nancy graduated from Wilmington Highschool and went on to work for the State of Delaware's Justice of the Peace Court 10 for over 40 years, eventually retiring as the Office Manager. In her free time, Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Nancy was also predeceased by her loving husband, Granville Symonds; and sisters, Barbara Wahl and Cathy Pritchard.

Nancy is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Linda (Gene) Warrick and Donna (Albert) Blanchard; sons and their spouses, Larry (Kay) Symonds and David (Joanne) Symonds; grandchildren, Albert Blanchard III, Kristin Maldonado, James Warrick, Jason Warrick, Robert Symonds, Nicole Kaiser, and Crystal Symonds; great grandchildren, AJ Blanchard, Adia Blanchard, Bryce Blanchard, Tyler Warrick, Mason Warrick, Hunter Kaiser, Zayden Bey, Callianna Symonds, and Kylen Abbarno; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Nancy will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10-11am, with a memorial service following at 11am. Burial will be held privately.
