Michael D. Gibson, 65 of New Castle passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Mike was born in Woodbury, NJ the son of the late Dorothy (Schaffer) and John Gibson. He was a graduate of Williamstown High School in New Jersey and worked for Corning, Inc. retiring as a supervisor of manufacturing in the medical grade glass division in 2020

Mike is survived by his sons, John and his wife, Desiree of Middletown and James of New Castle; his granddaughter, Layla; his loving companion, Renee Maneval; his brother, Kenneth Harring and his wife, Bess, and their children Brenda, Eric, and Jennifer, and two great nieces, five great nephews, and two great-great nieces.

Mike loved golfing, especially his yearly golf trips. Additionally, Mike enjoyed playing the guitar and watching his favorite sports teams. Family was very important to Mike. Mike was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
