Michael W. Garrett Sr., age 64, of New Castle, passed away peacefully with his sons by his bedside on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

Michael was born in Stevens Point, WI, the son of the late Dolores (Ligman) and Steven Garrett. Michael graduated from high school and served our nation honorably in the U.S Air Force. After returning from the service, Michael began his career as a welder for Local Union 19. Michaels family best described him as a man with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. In his free time, Michael enjoyed being in nature and watching movies. In addition to his parents, Michael was also predeceased by his loving wife, Linda Garrett.

Michael is survived by his sons and their spouses, Michael W. Jr. (Melissa) and Stephen (Angie); daughters, Tara Pete and Danielle (Brian) Dehmer; thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Greg and Dan Garrett; sister, Julie Kowalski; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

Services and burial for Michael will be held privately.
