Mia Grace Heitmann, age 2 ½, passed away in the loving arms of her parents on June 12 ^th , 2022.

Mia was born in Newark, Delaware on October 16, 2019, sharing a birthday with her mother. Her favorite things included her crib and her bedtime routine. Mia loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed going to her brother's sporting events with her family. She was a spunky toddler and despite life's challenges, she lived life to the fullest. Her family will always remember her playing outside with her curly blonde hair blowing in the wind.

Mia will be dearly missed by her parents, Frank and Brittany Heitmann; her older brother, Gavin Heitmann; her maternal grandparents, Nancy and Bill Young; and her aunts and uncles, Katie Young (fiancé, Rob), Paul and MaryAnn Heitmann, and Dave and Barb Heitmann; and many beloved cousins and extended family.

A public viewing will be held on Friday June 17 ^th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE. An additional viewing will be held on Saturday June 18 ^th from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., with funeral services beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
