MaryAnne Tolwinski age 91 died peacefully on August 11th.  MaryAnne was the last survivor of 7 siblings. After graduating from Wilmington High School, she joined the firm of Gunnip & Company CPAs where she worked for 40 years.

MaryAnne was the original "That Girl", remaining single and focusing on her career. She loved her independence.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time in Stone Harbor with her family.

MaryAnne was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Victoria Tolwinski; her brothers John and Paul Tolwinski; her sisters Ann McCabe, Agnes Raymond, Betty Zankowsky and Helen Szperka; her nephews David Tolwinski, Jimmy McCabe, Ricky McCabe, and great nephew, Matthew Klosowski.

She is survived by her nieces, MaryBeth Cichocki, Stacey Sheahan, Cindy McCabe, Debbie Horning, Diane Dettra, Donna Paige, Denise Barnes, Vicky Revoir.  Her nephews Tracy McCabe, Joseph Raymond, and Jan Tolwinski. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Even though MaryAnne had no children she was a second mom to all of the kids in the family. She will be greatly missed by everyone as she touched our lives so deeply.

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 26th from 10 A.M to 10:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2503 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Ministry of Caring, 115 E 14th St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
