Mary Catherine Tosh, known to her family as "Cathy", age 70, of Wilmington passed away peacefully at the Laurelwood Nursing Home on Monday, December 14, 2020. Mary was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Marie (Gallagher) and Joseph F. Desmond. She graduated from Brandywine High School in 1969 and received an Associates Degree from Brandywine College. Mary was a homemaker and mother of four and her husband, Stephen J. Tosh passed away on April 16, 2019. Mary is survived by her children, Julie, Michael, Jennifer and Christopher; her sister, Sarah "Sally" Breitenbach and her brother, James Desmond.
