Age 64 of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, surrounded by family and friends, after a long battle of cancer and renal failure.She was retired from Louviers Federal Credit Union. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed crafts, jet skiing, and playing dominoes.She was predeceased by her parents, Francis A. and Mary C. (Bertram) Kline of Newark, DE. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 30 years, Joseph Shenton of Millsboro, DE, 2 stepdaughters Dawn Schenk (Thomas) of Germany, and Kim Shenton of Newark, DE, and 3 grandchildren. She is also survived by 6 siblings, Francis W. Kline (Robin) of St. Leonard, MD, Robert J. Kline (JoAnn) of Fredericksburg, VA, Michael A. Kline, Thomas L. Kline, Elizabeth A. Gatrell (Charles), and Kathleen M. Kline all of Newark, DE, and many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE. Visitation prior to mass from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE following Mass. A memorial service will be held in Millsboro, DE at a later date.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or to the National Kidney Foundation Delaware Valley Chapter, 1500 Walnut St #301, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
