Mary Teresa (Davis) Moore, age 99, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Mary was born in Wilmington, DE daughter of the late Mary Catherine (Feeney) and Leon Murphy.  In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased by her loving husbands, Charles B. Davis in 1966 and Thomas G. Moore in 2012; brothers, John Murphy and Joseph Murphy; and sisters, Jeanne Mulrine and Anne Binder.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Davis, Cynthia Ritthaler, and Elizabeth Davis; grandchildren, Mark (Jennifer) Davis, Daniel (Lety) Davis, Megan Running, and Clark Running; great- grandchildren, Justin Farrow, Sofia Davis, Christian Davis, Alexis Davis, Cecilia Davis, and Liliana Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.  Mary worked as the secretary at McKean High School until her retirement. After retirement, Mary helped co-manage the Edgewater House in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Mary enjoyed her years at the beach and at Lake Nuangola, PA. She was also a member of the Village Improvement Association of  Rehoboth Beach. In her free time, Mary loved reading, playing cards, shopping on QVC, and working part time at the Glass Box in the Christiana Hospital.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for the care they provided for Mary during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at St. John the Beloved Roman Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, at 11AM. Burial will be held privately.
