Age 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 surrounded by her family.A lifelong Wilmington resident, she graduated from St. Peter's High School. She retired from the DuPont Company, Real Estate Division after 15+ years. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis "Jack" Lemon of 59 years in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Brady and sister, Eleanor Morrison. Mary was a gentle woman with a kind heart. She enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing and baking. Mary enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the holidays and especially at Ocean City, NJ.A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mary will be dearly missed by her children and their spouses: Maryllen and Ron Blum of Raleigh, NC, Michael and Fran Lemon of Wilmington, DE, John and Jill Lemon of Ocean City, NJ, Martha and Steve Buntin of Mount Airy, MD, Amy and Wayne McCallister of Wilmington, DE, and Paul and Melissa Lemon of Kansas City, KS; 11 grandchildren, Katie Close, Mike Lemon Jr., Mary Catherine, Madelyn and Macy Buntin, Monica Ledwon, Ellen, Grace and Jack McCallister, and Hannah and Brady Lemon; and 3 great grandchildren, John Close, JJ Close and Michael Lemon III. Also surviving are her brothers, Francis and Jack Brady and her sister, Margaret Brady.Friends and family are invited to visitation on Sunday, September 13th between 6 and 8 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville on Monday September 14th at 10:30 AM.
