Mary C. Kershner, age 79, of West Grove, PA passed away on October 15th, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Kalahan) and John J. Toland and stepdaughter of the late Emily (Spencer) Toland. She graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur High School in Villanova and went on to work in the family business at the Delaware Market House in Gladwyne and Wayne for many years before changing careers to work in the insurance industry.  Mary was a loyal and loving mother, nana, spouse, sister and friend.  She spent many years volunteering for Meals on Wheels America.  She loved gardening, bird watching, walking the grounds of Winterthur, reading and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband of 53 years in 2017, A. Daniel Kershner. She is survived by her children, Scott Kershner (Patricia), Kelly Lebano (Joe) and Jennifer Everlof (Matt); eight grandchildren, Robert, Daniel and Thomas Kershner; Katie Bartkowski (Mandy), Joseph and Cara Lebano; Emily and Ryan Everlof; and 3 siblings, Georgie Clark, Michael and John Toland.

In accordance with her wishes, Mary donated her body to science upon her passing. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Meals on Wheels America, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), or West Grove Fire Company.
