Mary E. Georgi, 90 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on October 12, 2017 at Seasons Hospice surrounded by her family.Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Bridget Agnes (Graham) and William Reeves Brown. She worked at the Philadelphia Naval Yard during World War II and then became a homemaker. Mary was a member of the Oak Grove Senior Center and a devoted member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. She enjoyed gardening, winters in Florida, and spending time with grandchildren. She adored her "puddykins", Mia. She will be truly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, a sister and her grandson, Christopher Puliti.Mary will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Edmund Georgi; her daughters and their husbands, Janice Puliti of Ivyland, PA, Carol and Hank Rome of Hockessin, Lynne and Gary Wroten of Newark, Shelly and Jim Klabe of Wilmington, Robin and Larry Davis of Wilmington, Valerie and Brian Rorabaugh of Newark and Renee and Donald Crumlish of Wilmington; her 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2501 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Tuesday morning at 11 AM, where friends may visit after 10 AM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
