Obituary

Mary Ann D'Amico, 65 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Gilpin Hall after a long and courageous battle with Frontotemporal dementia.

Mary Ann was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Margaret (Murphy) and Ronald Maxwell. She graduated from Padua Academy in 1975 and was a loving mother, daughter, friend, and homemaker.

Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cara D'Amico of Richmond, MA; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Brittany D'Amico of West Chester; her grandchildren, James, Haley and Lillie; her brothers and their wives, Michael and Kim Maxwell of New Castle and Kenneth and Jackie Maxwell of Stanton.

Friends are invited to visit at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:30 AM at St. Ann's Church, Gilpin Avenue and Union Street, Wilmington.  Burial will be in St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery, Greenville.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, 2700 Horizon Dr Suite 120, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
