Mary C. Colazo, 81 of Newark passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Mary was born in Co. Kerry, Ireland on April 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Julia (Bradley) and Michael Coakley. She immigrated to the United States in 1958 and lived in New York City. In Delaware, Mary worked as a cashier for the Burlington Coat Factory and Wendy's.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her twin sister, Betty Coughlan and her brothers, Sean and Donal Coakley.

Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Day and his husband, Anthony of Erie, PA and Gustavo Colazo of Baltimore, MD; her sister, Eileen Glynn of Bradenton, FL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
