Mary Alice Carroll, age 77, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Mary Alice was born in Bellefonte, PA, daughter of the late Mary Catherine (McCormick) and John William Mansfield. She graduated from Immaculata College and received her Master's in Education from Temple University.  She went on to become a middle school science teacher in the Pittsgrove Township School District until her retirement. In her free time, Mary Alice was a member of the Lions Club and loved to spend time with her friends, and ride horses.  In addition to her parents, Mary Alice was predeceased by her husband, William P. Carroll.

Mary Alice is survived by her children, Brian J. Baccellieri, Dr. Carl E. Baccellieri Jr; Megan Gigliotti and Kathleen Garrigan; her step-son William P. Carroll, Jr. and numerous close friends.

Services and burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Mary Alice's name to the Cecilton Lions Club, P.O. Box 404, Cecilton, M.D. 21913.
