Martin J. Nagy, age 62, of Vineland, NJ, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 14, 2021. Born in Wilmington, DE, Martin was the son of the late Marie C. (Britton) and Paul M. Nagy. He graduated from Conrad High School and worked as a sales associate at the Home Depot. He was an entertainer at heart and was a part of multiple school plays in junior high and high school; but most of all, he just loved making people laugh. In his free time, Martin loved to watch his favorite tv show, "I Love Lucy", and spend time with his close friends and family. In addition to his parents, Martin was predeceased by his brother, Michael C. Nagy. Martin is survived by his sisters, Judith Doody of Claymont, DE and Nancy Fisher (Bob) of Selbyville, DE; brother, Paul A. Nagy of New Zealand; four nephews; two nieces; and a host of close family friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10 to 11 AM, with a brief funeral service beginning at 11 AM. The family requests that guests wear masks while in the funeral home. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
