Age 93, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Season Hospice on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 surrounded by her family.Born in Foundryville, PA, Martha was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Magarsky) Balon. She worked in sales at area retail stores. In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by her husband, John; her grandson, Michael Brown; her sisters, Mary Kushnevick, Cecilia Jastromsky and Anna Brezenski; and her brothers, Paul and Joseph Balon.She will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Joseph Brown of Wilmington; and her granddaughter, Amanda Brown.The family would like to thank Debbie of St. Francis Home Healthcare and Seasons Hospice for their loving care of Martha.Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 24th at 1 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
