Mark Edward Stevens, age 64, of Wilmington, DE passed away on March 4th, 2024.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Mary Grove (Stevens) Powell and the late John Edward Stevens, and step-son of the late Irvine Powell.  He graduated from John Dickinson High School and attended the University of Delaware.  He retired in 2022 after a 40 year career at UPS.  Mark thoroughly enjoyed being near the beach, especially Rehoboth Beach.  He enjoyed traveling with his family to Maine, Cape May, and Oxford, Md.  He loved to enjoy a good meal of seafood or Italian food, and spend his free time gardening.  Mark found joy in spending quality time with his sisters, nieces, and nephews, and sharing with them his father's history in Oxford, Md, his mother's history in Hancock, Md, and the history of the family cabin in Maine.

Mark is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Patricia (Stevens) and Bill Emmanuel, Gail (Stevens) and Jim Walls, Joan (Powell) and Bill Jenaway, and David and Liz Powell; Kathy Price and the late Jimmy Powell; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Emmanuel, Amy Brady, Ashley Rohde, Brittany Emmanuel, Kevin Walls, Erin Foltz, Katherine Jenaway, Kelsey Jenaway, Elizabeth Jenaway, Andrew Powell, and Charlie Powell; and 9 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mark's name to either Faithful Friends Animal Society, 165 Airport Rd. New Castle, DE 19720 or Brandywine Valley SPCA West Chester, PA 19380.

Funeral services for Mark will be held privately.
