Mark Alan Endres

In Memory of Mark Endres Mark Alan Endres, age 71, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Regal Heights Nursing Home.

Mark was born on January 24, 1955, to Rose (Mersch) and Roy Endres. Mark lived with multiple sclerosis (MS) for many years, which eventually left him immobile. He spent much of his working life with General Motors and retired from the company around 2009.

Naturally reserved, Mark was not always one to express his feelings, but in his later years, there were moments that stood out. He began saying “thank you” and “I love you” more often, small expressions of gratitude and affection that will be remembered by those closest to him.

Mark is survived by his children, Greta Endres; Konrad Endres (Helen Reidler); and Kristen Scalia (Jeff Scalia); and his grandchildren, Karina Warwick, Klara Endres, Harper Scalia, Ryder Scalia, and Libby Endres. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He enjoyed visits from his daughter and grandchildren, who remained a part of his life through the years. May he now rest peacefully, free from the limitations of the illness he lived with for so long.
