Marilyn Ann Madanat, 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2018.While she was born on August 1st, 1935, in Ranoul, IL, Marilyn was a long-time Delaware resident. She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Nadine (Skelton) Smith; and her husband, Adeeb Madanat.Marilyn was an accomplished nurse in her working years, an active member of her church, Faith Baptist, an avid NASCAR and football fan, and a loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by her brothers, David, Kenny, and Roger; her children, Melanie and Azmie (spouse), Martha, Matthew, Michael and Nancy (spouse); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Sosan, Deanna, Jonathan, Jordan, and Talia.A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22nd from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE. Interment will follow at Silverbrook cemetery. Immediately following the burial, friends and family are invited to a Meal of Mercy at Faith Baptist Church, 4210 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
