Marie Fleming, 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away May 22, 2023. Marie was born August 12, 1935. Marie attended St. Peter's High School in New Castle, DE.

She graduated from Goldey- Beacom School of Business in 1965 with an AA Degree in Executive Secretarial. She worked for the State of Delaware Department of Natural Resources. Marie was dedicated to her Catholic faith and aided several parishes in the Diocese of Wilmington. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her cousins, Thomas Houghton and his wife, Martha; Mary Lou Houghton, wife of cousin, Eugene Houghton (deceased); Dina Houghton, daughter of cousin, Eugene; Steven and Joseph Houghton, sons of cousin, Thomas; and second cousins, Sarah Houghton and Samantha Houghton. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Fleming and brother, Joe Walton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 7th, 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church, 10 Old Church Rd., Wilmington, DE.
