Marie Carmella Davis, age 90, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024.

She was born at her family home in Wilmington, DE to the late Theresa (Chickadel) and Frank Panaccione.  Marie was a Library Associate at the Woodlawn Library. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and friends and playing solitaire. She loved buffets and was a big fan of Red Lobster, especially their biscuits. Marie was quiet, sweet, and very loved by her entire family

In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband, Roland "Jim" Davis; and her siblings, Assunta DeRocili, Frances Zawiska,and Michael, Anthony and Angelo Panaccione.

Marie is survived by her sister, Angela Theresa Sweeny and her husband, Robert "Bob", and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
