Age 50, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014 surrounded by her family. Born in Abington, PA, Margaret was the daughter of Miriam Ricardi and the late Joseph Kusnell. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 11 years, William L. Sadler; her son, Daniel L. Sadler of Newark, DE; her mother and stepfather, Miriam and John Ricardi of Somers Point, NJ; her sister, Linda Bennis of Willow Grove, PA; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Elaine Cusanelli of Carlsbad, CA and Christopher and Genevieve Kusnell of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.Margaret was a devoted mother, daughter and wife. She spent many years walking to her son's school each day to volunteer her time. She was relentless when it came to Danny's grades, and was constantly in touch with his teachers which is evidenced by the spectacular report cards that Danny receives to this day. Her family was the most important thing to her throughout her life. She did not let a day pass by without a phone call or two, or three to her parents and siblings. Her love of Elvis and Marie Osmond will bring a smile to all of our faces every time we hear a song. Margaret was a one-of-a-kind person, and has truly touched the lives of those that she met. She had an infectious sense of humor, loved the Phillies, and treasured her holidays with her family. Her greatest moments were when her family, parents, siblings, nieces and nephews were all together. She was a simple girl, her favorite shows were those from her childhood like The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and The Hallmark Channel. One of her last outings was to a park by the bay in Somers Point, where she just sat with her family and looked out over the water. She was happy. That is how she would want to be remembered.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 21st at 12 noon at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2505 Centerville Road, Wilmington where visitation will begin after 10:30 AM.
