Age 89, of Hockessin, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Cokesbury Village. Margaret was born in Birdsboro, PA the daughter of the late Ruth (Ortt) and George Snyder. She was a graduate of Bucknell University and served as a deacon at Red Clay Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid bridge player. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Dampman, her daughter, Nancy Lumley and her husband, Walter S, Lumley, Jr. in 2000.Margaret is survived by her daughters, Patricia Harkeli and her husband, Stephen of Middleburg, FL and Barbara Lumley of New Castle; her sons, Walter S. Lumley, III of Bear and David A. Lumley of Buford, GA; her grandchildren, Sean, Krystine (Mike), Brandon, Amanda (Adam), Laura (Tyler), Heather, Christopher and Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Caden and Cameron and her sister, Carolyn Turk of Bloomfield, CT.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Red Clay Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Road at 10:30AM, where friends may call after 9:30AM. Immediately following the service, burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.
