Age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Wilmington, Margaret, the daughter of the late William and Anne (Pierce) Toomey, was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School. She worked for the DuPont Company, was a self-employed caterer, a medical/legal secretary, and homemaker. A parishoner at St. Catherine of Siena Church, she enjoyed playing cards and was a founding member of the First Fridays Group. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Jerominski and by her brother, William Toomey.She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Ann Jerominski and Claire Jerominski, both of Bear, and Rebecca Garner and her husband, Bill of Newark; and her two beloved grandsons, Will and Flynn. Also surviving are her sisters, Theresa Toomey and Nancy Lampert and husband Karl; her sister-in-law, Patricia Toomey; and nieces, Melissa and Kate; all of Wilmington.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12th at 11 AM at St. Matthew's Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Woodcrest where friends and family are invited to visitation after 10 AM.
