Marcella B. Stanton, age 66, of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 5th at Christiana Hospital. Marcella was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Eiselman) and Dominic Squadrito. She was married to the late Raymond C. Stanton, a native Californian. She worked in Human Resources at multiple media outlets, including the Wilmington News Journal. She spent ten years working in San Francisco, CA. In her retirement, she worked part-time at Wawa as a cashier. Marcella, known to her close family and friends as Mia, was an avid reader and lover of Rock n Roll. She enjoyed spending her weekends at the local Grotto's Pizza where she would share pizza and beers with her best friend Gail Kelly. Most of all she will be best remembered for her contagiously positive attitude and selfless desire to help others. She loved and served her God every day with a smile, which brightened the lives of everyone she met.Marcella is survived by her daughter, Noelle Hinderhofer-Markle and her grandchildren, Matthew and Zachary Hinderhofer.Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
