Marc P. Niedzielski, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Wilmington, Delaware on Sunday, August 28, 2022, surrounded by family.

Marc was the son of the late Edmund L. Niedzielski and Rita Isabelle Niedzielski (Paradis). He graduated in 1970 from Salesianum School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After the military, he graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in geology in 1979 and the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1984. He began his legal career as a Justice of the Peace for the State of Delaware and then became a Master for the Superior Court of Delaware. Marc served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice from 1994 until his retirement in 2013.

Family and friends will remember Marc as a devoted family man and a phenomenal cook. He hosted countless get-togethers and celebrations, preparing every dish from scratch. He was generous with his time, talents, and possessions.

Marc will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Maude Niedzielski (Carey), his daughter Anastasia Wasylyshyn and her husband Russ Wasylyshyn, sisters Michele O'Brien and Suzanne Niedzielska, brother Robert Niedzielski and his wife Judy Niedzielski, and his many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Denise Lesh (Mike).

Friends may call on Tuesday morning, September 6, from 10 AM to 11 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, Delaware. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, Delaware.
