Age 93, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Hockessin, passed away peacefully at Cadia Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.Louise was born in Glasgow, Scotland and earned her Master's Degree in History before becoming a school teacher and immigrating to the "New World" in 1956.She taught at St. John the Beloved and St. Catherine of Siena Schools. She was a lifelong avid reader and enjoyed annual cruises with friends and family. Her husband of 60 years, Ralph D. Russell predeceased her in 2008.Louise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara C. Russell and Dwayne W. Jennings of Reston, VA and her son and daughter-in-law, Graham P. Russell and Maria J. Foglio of Avondale, PA.Friends and family are invited to visitation at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 after 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM.
