Louis D. Chudnofsky, 82, of Hockessin passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Louis was born in Wilmington, son of the late Lena (Jaffe) and George Chudnofsky. He went on to venture into numerous business ventures, including Sunrise Bakery in Wilmington, and many restaurants. Louis had an extraordinary work ethic and rarely missed a day or a number for his lottery customers. He had a sense of humor that was unmatched and loved telling jokes. He loved spending time with his friends and family, and his loyal dog Miles. Louis is predeceased by his brothers Samuel Chudnofsky, Seymor Chudnofsky, Morris Chudnofsky, Harry Chudnofsky, and Harold Churdnofsky. Louis is survived by his daughter Tuesday (Phillip) Springer of Wilmington, his sons Louis (Jennifer) Chudnofsky of West Grove PA , Jerome (Melissa) Chudnofsky of Landenberg PA, and Beegee Chudnofsky of Wilmington, his sister Jeanette Chudnofsky of Wilmington, his brother Sidney (Phyllis) Chudnofsky of Wilmington, his grandchildren Joshua (Diana) Springer, Brittany (Mark) Davis, Alexis Chudnofsky, Dalton Chudnofsky, Paige Chudnofsky, and Addison Chudnofsky, and his former spouse Eleanor Lobodzinski. A visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington DE, 19808 from 5-7, with a short memorial service beginning at 7. Burial will be private.
