Sue Dyer, age 76 of Bear, DE passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

She was born in Mohawk, West Virginia. Sue was the daughter of the late Juanita (Blankenship) and Ellis Hunt and was one of eleven children. She is predeceased by her siblings and survived by her youngest sister, Sherry Hunt.

She is also survived by her daughters and their spouses; Jamie and John Ruff, and Tracy and Michael Mullen; her grandchildren, Amber, Kaitlyn, John, Connor, and Justin; and her great grandchildren; Carly, Junior, and Jordan.

Although she was a private person, her warmth and kindness spoke louder than words. She will best be remembered for being a loving Mom and Grandma. Sue loved being at home and could often be found outdoors, simply enjoying the sunshine. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family.

Private services will be held in keeping with her wishes.
