Lois A. Strusowski, age 68, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

Lois was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Marilyn (Thomas) and William Ryan. Lois graduated from Conrad High School and became a Customer Service Representative at Sears, Discover Bank, and eventually retiring from the City of Newark after 15 years. Lois's family will remember her best for being a kind, loving, and caring person who was always there for you. In her free time, Lois enjoyed visiting the family house in Pot Nets Beach and spending time with her friends and family. Lois also enjoyed cheering on her favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James A. Strusowski; son and his wife, Timothy (Sherry) Strusowski; brothers and their wives, James (Mary) and Patrick (Margy) Ryan; sisters, Nancy O'Neill and Susan Sagan; a host of nieces and nephews, and grand-dog, Larry and grand-bunny, Ulysses.

A visitation for Lois will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 10-11:30am, with a memorial service following at 11:30am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Lois would get happiness from having donations in her name sent to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
