Lois A. Crouse (Kraus) of Wilmington, DE passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on March 22, 2023.

Lois was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, DE, and studied at the University of Delaware. She was a freelance writer who enjoyed traveling to places such as China, Israel, Australia, and Hawaii. She also enjoyed live theatre and enjoyed many community theatre shows.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Jeanette (Donlon) Kraus and her sister, Jane Kraus. She is survived by her cousins, Mary Jane McAteer, Michael Donlon (Landenberg, PA), Kathleen Colatriano, Linda Gioffre and Michael Donlon (Coconut Creek, FL); several great nieces and great nephews; and an extended family that loved her very much.

The viewing will be held at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
