Logan R. Dant, 30, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Logan was born in Newark, the son of Velvet (Elden) Dant and the late Philip Dant.  He graduated from North East High School and worked as a car repairman for Amtrak for the past ten years. He was known for being a hard working, eager to learn, gentleman who was loved by everyone.

In addition to his father, Logan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard Chambers and his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Louise Dant.

Logan will be missed by his mother, Velvet Dant of Middletown; his siblings, Katie Dant (Tina Field) of Baltimore, MD, Cole Morris (Joe) and Allie Siebold (Mike) all of Newark; his maternal grandmother, Gisela Chambers of Middletown; his nephew, John "J.J." and his niece, Cori.

Logan will be remembered as a dedicated and deeply loved son/brother/uncle/friend, an avid gym goer, and an active adventure seeker. He was someone who could always light up a room with his loving nature and his ability to make others smile.
