Lloyd H. Diem, age 67, of New Castle, DE passed away at home on July 12, 2025. Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Phyllis (Riley) and Clarence Diem. Lloyd traveled the country as part of a military family with his parents and brothers when he was younger, before returning to Delaware. He graduated from Delcastle High School and went on to spend his career as a bricklayer for D & W Mason Contractors, starting at the age of 17. Lloyd was an active bowler in his younger years, enjoyed spending time with his family at the Delaware beaches, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan M. Diem; his children and their spouses, Chase Diem and Alli Schell, Stephanie and Vincent Fioravanti; his brothers, Douglas and Robert Diem; and a host of extended family.

A visitation will be held at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808 on Saturday July 19th, 2025, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with seated funeral services to begin at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
