Linda Ann Schiavi, born in Coatesville, PA on October 4,1941. She passed peacefully on October 2, 2024, in her home just shy of celebrating her 83rd birthday.

Linda was the beloved daughter of Michael and Marjorie McConnell (Haulman). After graduating from St. Cecelia High School, she attended UPenn Nursing School and began her lifelong passion for caring for others.

In 1964, Linda married Richard Schiavi residing in Wilmington, Delaware until she passed away.  She worked in numerous jobs primarily in the nursing field for many years, followed by Three Little Bakers, and the Hockessin Library. Linda was dedicated to living a balanced life, always preaching patience and kindness.  She also had a passion for walking, entering the Bay to Breakers later in life, also embracing yoga as part of her daily routine.

She is survived by her husband Richard, her sons John and Rich, two cherished granddaughters Taylor Lillian and Mahina, her siblings Rosemary Bott(John), Janet McConnell, David McConnell(Kristen), and a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared. Services will be private.
