Lila Rosa Palenzuela Leon, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Gilpin Hall in Wilmington, Delaware. Born in Havana, Cuba, Lila was the daughter of the late Rafael and Rosalia (Linares) Palenzuela. Her husband, Victor L. Leon, predeceased her in 2017. She worked hard all her life as a seamstress until retirement, and was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her biggest joy in life was her love for her family. She touched the lives of many people and was loved by everyone that met her. She leaves her daughters Martha Zinni (Anthony), Lourdes Leon, and Victoria Leon (Charles Gruver); and her granddaughter Stephanie Constantini (Christopher). Her love, strength and courage are her legacy to them. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine, 10 Old Church Rd, Wilmington, Delaware.
