Obituary

Died suddenly on February 18, 2015 at Christiana Hospital with all his family by his side. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, only son of Halene and Lester Millliken. He grew up in NW Detroit returning to the U of Michigan for a BBA. Excelling in studies he was elected to two academic fraternities, and was also a member of a social fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha. During the Korean War, he served as a Lieutenant in the Navy as an air intelligence officer for squadron VF 102 aboard the carrier Tarawa stationed in Japan. In 1956 he returned to the U of Mich. with his wife and first child to earn his MBA, again first in class. He then joined DuPont Plastics for about 30 years in seven different professional and managerial marketing, financial, and personnel disciplines.Blair lived at Cokesbury Village in Hockessin for 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean C. (Sennet) after 61 plus years of marriage. Also surviving are 3 daughters and one granddaughter.There will be a Memorial Service at Cokesbury in the auditorium chapel at 1:30 PM on Sunday, March 8th. All are invited to attend. The Interment will be private on Monday, March 9th at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery In lieu of flowers he has encouraged donations to the American Heart Assoc. 200 Continental Drive # 101,Newark, DE 19713 or the MS Society, 2 Mill Road #106, Wilmington, DE 19806.
